Although not the most eye-catching fixture on paper, the game at Selhurst Park between Crystal Palace and Brentford promises to be quite interesting.
Crystal Palace started the 2025/26 season well but have hit a serious slump lately. In their last three matches, the London side managed to earn only one point (a 3–3 draw with Bournemouth) and suffered two defeats — against Arsenal and Everton.
Brentford, in contrast, are the complete opposite of their current opponents: a terrible start to the season followed by excellent results in the last two games. By “excellent results,” we mean wins over Liverpool (3–2) and West Ham United (0–2).

Prediction for the Crystal Palace vs Brentford
After nine rounds, both clubs are neck and neck in mid-table: Crystal Palace sit 10th, while Brentford are 11th. Despite the visitors’ recent form, there’s one rule that always works in the Premier League: in a match between two equal teams, back the home side. That’s why my recommendation here is to bet on Crystal Palace to win.
