Almost 20 years on, classic Kiwi TV show Top Town is back and filming of the new 2009 series will be here in Christchurch.

The “Christchurch Crushers” will compete against 14 teams from around New Zealand in a knock-out competition to take the title of New Zealand’s Top Town.

Filming will take place at Jellie Park Sports & Recreation Centre from 27 November to 4 December.

Tickets can be purchased to attend what will be a very competitive and outrageously funny event.

To be part of the TV audience and cheer on the Christchurch Crushers, purchase your session tickets from the Jellie Park Centre or Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, from Tuesday 18 November.

Each day will hold two sessions – a morning and afternoon, and tickets for these sessions can be purchased separately.

Morning sessions will run from 9am - 1pm

Afternoon sessions will run from 1.30pm - 6.30pm

Prices are as follows, per session:
$5 for adults over 16
$3 for children under 15.
Full day passes - $8 Adults and $6 Children.

Semi finals and finals $10 Adults and $6 Children

Semi finals - 30 November & 3 December

Finals - 4 December

Car parking
Available via Greers Road. It will cost $2 with the proceeds going to a local charity. People will be encouraged to stay inside the venue during filming.

Dress Code
Audience members are encouraged to dress for the occasion and support the Christchurch Crushers – colours are red and black 80s retro style.
